This is my new icon dedicated to my new favorite artist, Jack Johnson. Finally, someone, named Derek, helped me to figure out how to even put one of these crazy icons on my journal, so i found this one. My mom told me I would fall in love with a boy named Jack ( Jake,John,Josh, anything like that,) one day, and I finally did. Expect this one is totally out of my reach, lol. A girl can dream though. She, my mom, however did try to hook me up with a kid named Jake,well his real name was Tyrome, (but thats the log end of this story,) while i was in Tennessee on a youth trip!! Anyone, whose anyone, who went on CIY, knows what im talking about (Luv Ya Boo!!), my crazy mom. ehhh, that was funny though. Im going to post some lyrics of Jack's songs soon, theyre really good, i think everyone would enjoy them, he's a little bit o John, Mayer that is, and a little bit of U2 kind of,except not so rockish, its cool, mellow music. He sings about love, but politics, and life without you realizing it. It's great, everyone go check him out. |

So today went pretty good. Didn't do to much, although I should have, like English homework...hmm, hopefully that will get done sometimes before monday. My friend Alissa was suppose to come home this weekend, She goes to college at PBA is west palm, but something came up, and she didn't coem home, so my plans of hanging out with her went down teh drain, kind of disappointed, but I understand. My other girlfriends were either spending time with their boyfriends or working, which I can understand all that too, so i had dinner with my parents and then went to the mall. Some think it's weird to go alone, but I really actually enjoy b/c I can just think, and suffice my needs, not those of the person/people I'm with. I've never felt alone, when shopping alone, but today I kind of did, and it was odd. When people looked at me I felt liek they were judging me like ooo " look at the poor lonely/single/loser girl at the mall all alone." There was a bunch of teeny bopper groups hanging around and couples, and what not. I my self didn't feel alone, but to everyone else I feel I must have looked alone. So I guess at teh end of it all, I did end up kind of feelign alone, which I don't liek and am definately not use to, not that I plan on getting use to it, but it's just all very odd, I dont like this feeling. My mom even thought it was kind of weird that i was going ALL alone, but if she came Id want her to drive, and shes sick so she'd want me to drive, but i don't liek drivign with ehr in the car b/c she makes me nervous and makes me drive weird. But tonight wasn't a total bust, I had a good time, with myslef, for the most part. i really feel like somethign big is going to happen this year. Already we're graduating, goign to college. i'm soon going to fulfill the independence I've been longing for. Living on my own, making my own schedule, deciding what types of vegetables I want to eat, lol. Things are changing, big time. |

So they other day i wrote an entire entry and for soem odd reason it didn't post...?? whatever, i guess. anyways. i stayed home form school today, I was suppose to go late, buuuutttt, i just didn't make it...I highly doubt I missed to much though, plus it gave me more time to study for my trig tests, which I needed. I got a bandana today for the chilli cook off- it's a concert, which I didnt knwo till today and i've had plans to go for a month now, and it's picnic style, sit back, relax, listen to music, square dance, ALL the things I love rolled into one!!LOL But back to the bandana, it the really cool shade of purple, like a purpley-pink, I love it, and it was only a dollar, form the dollar store, so I love it even more. I also got one of those rubber bracelts everyone has been wearing, I felt kind of left out, and I didn't like the color yellow of the armstrong one, so today, also whiel at the dollar store, I found this really pretty pink one, not normal pink, like a salmon/flamingo pink, and it says BELIEVE which makes it even more awesome, also only one dollar. So, then I went to work, at 4 instead of 5. And soemone had the audacity to coem in and ask.. your going to love this... "can this grow outside??" My natural reaction is " are you a total idiot? This entire store is only entirely OUTSIDE!" But no, I calmly say yes, although soem of this can survive in your home-near a window- they all are meant to grow outside. Where all plants are made in the first place so I dont understand why thats even a question. otherwise I had a pretty cool day. |
